SalesDash
2025
SaaS startup building gamification dashboards for sales teams. Active in the Dutch market with a growing customer base.
Intro
SalesDash builds gamification dashboards that let sales teams track their targets on a leaderboard. The founder came in with a technical question about Meta Ads. The problem turned out to be somewhere else.
Problem
The Meta Ads campaigns were technically fine. Targeting was set, pixels were working, campaign structure was in place. But results lagged. The question was to review the technical setup.
Looking at the ads, the setup wasn't the problem. The ads didn't make it clear enough what SalesDash delivers, who it's for, and why a sales manager would switch from their current spreadsheet or tool. The message lacked sharpness.
Analysis
One ad emphasized gamification, another talked about productivity, a third about team building. There was no consistent message. A sales manager seeing the ad couldn't explain in one sentence what SalesDash does and why they'd want it.
With an early-stage product, that's not unusual. The product moves fast, and positioning often lags. But as long as the message isn't sharp, it doesn't matter how good the targeting is.
Solution
First we sharpened the core message. We set out in concrete terms what SalesDash delivers for a sales team, in which situation it's most valuable, and how it stands out from existing tools.
We also clarified the sales structure: which type of client benefits most, which problem is the first trigger, and what language that client uses.
From there, new Meta Ads were set up on Facebook and Instagram. No complex funnels, just a clear message aimed at the right audience.
Result
The new campaigns generated 3x more leads than all previous campaigns combined. Not through more budget or better targeting, but because the message was finally clear. Visitors understood within five seconds what SalesDash does and who it's for.
